Wrapcloth Writings

I have been working as a freelance writer since 2010, following redundancy. I live in the United Kingdom and English is my first, and only, language.

I have written many articles for the internet, including, SEO optimised articles, press releases, blogs and complete websites. I have written for both the US and UK markets. Unfortunately, the nature of this writing, means anonymity. Some of the companies I have written for are, Premier Inns, Fraser Hart, Sky, Love Films and Dartington Crystal,

I have written on a variety of subjects, from wine to car hire, and hotels to jewellery; do not ask about the jelging. The majority of this work has needed researching; you cannot be an expert on such diverse subjects.

I attended a ‘Guardian Masterclass for Long-form Travel Writing‘ where the tutor, Mike Carter, a travel correspondent for The Guardian newspaper and author in his own right was kind enough to comment on my written piece,

“…But, really, as I said earlier, there is very little to find fault with here. You are obviously a good storyteller, with the ability to write well.”

My family has provided respite care for children with disabilities and foster care for less fortunate children. My wife is a child minder, so I regularly assist in caring for young children. We have 3 grown up children and 2 grandchildren.

I enjoy watching rugby and have a keen interest in golf, cycling and travel.
